Richard is a Partner of McGilvray.

Richard's one goal is to meet his clients' legal and commercial needs.

He invests time listening to his clients’ needs to build long term relationships and help with all matters of business. His expertise is in commercial disputes and litigation, property law, commercial law as well as building and construction law.

Richard regularly appears in the Magistrates Court, the Supreme Court and the Federal Court. He also has experience at appellate level.

Richard has a Masters of Commercial Law from the University of Melbourne, where he achieved the second highest grade point average possible.

Jacinta is a Partner of McGilvray.

She has a broad commercial practice focusing on property, commercial law and civil litigation.

Prior to joining McGilvray, Jacinta built and ran one of the largest property practices in Canberra and is a well respected member of the industry.

Relationships and results are the cornerstone of Jacinta's practice, which is underpinned by her client-focused approach and diligent work ethic.

Tayla is a Senior Associate at McGilvray.

Tayla is an accomplished and well-rounded commercial lawyer with seven years of experience across multiple practice areas in both the private and public sectors, allowing her to assist with all our clients’ business needs.

Tayla predominantly works in our litigation practice and often appears in the ACT Civil and Administrative Tribunal, Magistrates Court, the Supreme Court and the Federal Court.

Tayla has a proven track record of providing successful outcomes for her clients.

Nicholas is an Associate working within the property and commercial practice of McGilvray.

He has extensive experience assisting clients navigate their property and commercial law matters. He prides himself on providing individualised and commercial advice to clients and considers a happy client to be his greatest reward.

Nicholas regularly assists clients with selling and/or buying property in the ACT and NSW. He understands that selling and/or buying property can be a daunting experience for clients and works to ensure the process is straightforward and efficient for all involved.

Hannah is a Lawyer in McGilvray’s commercial team.

Hannah brings over 3 years’ experience to McGilvray. She is known for her efficiency and effectiveness in handling a diverse range of commercial law matters across multiple industries. Hannah excels in guiding clients through complex commercial legal matters with ease. Her approach is centred on providing personalised advice, always aiming to achieve her clients’ commercial goals.

Gabrielle is a lawyer in McGilvray’s commercial litigation team.

Marie is a leading conveyancer in McGilvray’s property team.

She joins McGilvray with years of experience working in high volume, efficient and successful property practices across Canberra.

She regularly assists with the purchase and sale of residential property in the ACT and NSW.

Her strong work ethic and attention to detail are critical to McGilvray’s success.

Vicki performs a vital support role for McGilvray’s property team, providing administrative and conveyancing support to our solicitors. With a diverse administration management background and a keen eye for detailed procedure, Vicki is essential to ensuring McGilvray’s property transactions advance efficiently.

Maggie is a Paralegal at McGilvray.

Maggie is in her third year studying Bachelor of Laws (Honours) / Bachelor of Commerce at the ANU.

As a part of her degree, Maggie specialises in corporate and commercial law, which is evidenced in her ability to assist in complex commercial litigation matters.

Maggie works collaboratively with the commercial litigation team, supporting them through legal research, drafting and preparing documents for court hearings. With her keen eye for detail, Maggie contributes to the firm’s success in handling complex legal challenges.
